Desert land

Welcome, I could not help but like the picture it is rather amazing. I personally tend to enjoy looking at landscape pictures and paintings especially because there is always a sense of wonder or interest in them on some level, this picture definitely accomplishes that. The setting looks interesting and for lack of a better word 'cool' and creates a sense of curiosity as to what the area is and what lies beyond it. It appears most of the image is using a similar color palette which is really interesting to pull off. The positioning of the character helps to draw the eye right to him as a point of interest from the positioning of them near one of the vertical third potion of the image and from the angle of the image it seems to lead toward them as well. What inspired you for this image and what techniques were involved in making the clouds so fluffy?
